My traveling has been on a hold lately. A bit sad, but I have a very good reason - I am saving my money, holidays and energy for a big trip! I have chosen to go to wonderful South East Asia for the last weeks of December. This will be my longest trip so far and at the same time the furthest I have ever travelled. For a long time I have been wanting to do a trip like this, but it always seemed something which was a bit out of reach. A few weeks ago, I asked myself "Why not just do it?". Since I did not have an answer to that question, I logged a request for holidays at work the same day. Within a week of approval of my holidays, I had booked a return flight to Bangkok. So now my three week Asia trip is a reality!
I still need to book several things, but the way it looks now, I will be visiting the following places:
Bangkok
I cannot fly to this city and not spend a couple of days there. I read it is a crazy city and I am sure that I will be very overwhelmed after the calm life in Luxembourg. Luckily I will have a local to guide me around.

Singapore
I found a country smaller than my own to visit!

Kuala Lumpur and environment
Here, I plan to do a couple of day trips in the environment and some city tours within Kuala Lumpur. There seems to be a lot to do, so more research is required.

I will spend Christmas and New Year on this island. It will be a mix of good food, relaxing and outdoor activities. After the very active first half of my vacation, I will need some rest before going back to the real world. A perfect way to end the year and to start 2016 rested, tanned and happy.
